1. All components are integrated on a rugged steel base. It is ready for use by only connecting with
supply piping and to the power source.
2. Layout is very compact and much lighter than conventional units. It occupies lesser space and requires
easier installation than conventional units.
3. The flow control system which prevent frequent start and stop of pumps, requires small hydropneumatic
pressure tank and ensures constant fresh water supply
4. Pumps are in parallel operation for high demand and alternating in low demand, suitable for energy

Booster Ebara FSA


Step 1) both pumps are stopped when water tank is fully charged. In
this condition water is supplied from the pressure tank and
water pressure in tank gradually decreases.
Step 2) No. 1 pump start at pressure P1 (point 1) and water supplied
from pump and pressure tank.
Step 3) When more water is required and water pressure decreases to
P2 (point 2), no. 2 pump also starts, operation point shifts to
point 3 and system shifts to parallel operation.
Step 4) When water consumption decreases, water pressure in tank
increase and when pressure reaches P3 (point 4) no. 2 pump
is stopped and operation point shifts to point 5.
Step 5) when water consumption further decreases, water pressure in
tank increases and pressure switch is turned off and the flow
switch used to detect small flow is turned off. When both
pressure and flow switch are off, no. 1 pump stops (point 6).
Flow switch setting point is at small capacity point; therefore
pump continuous operation range is much wider. Accordingly
pump start frequency is greatly decreased

The DrainLift FTS solids separation system is a sewage lifting unit for the drainage of commercial buildings and blocks of buildings (e.g. hotels, department stores, etc.).

Raw sewage that cannot be piped to the sewer system through the use of natural inclines and sewage from below the backflow level are to be piped to the public sewer system by means of an automatic lifting unit in accordance with DIN EN 12056/DIN 1986-100. Sewage containing mineral oils or explosive admixtures must be guided through oil precipitators and/or petrol precipitators; those containing fatty substances must go through grease traps and those with sand through grit chambers.

Grundfos-SB_SBA1The SB and SBA pump is a submersible booster pump for the pumping of clean water. It is especially suitable for rainwater applications and private wells. The pump is available in two versions:




The Grundfos SB is a submersible pump for the pumping of clean water. It is designed for use in domestic applications. The pump itself is very silent, and when installed underground in a rainwater collecting tank or well, noise will never become an issue. The SB pump requires an external controller, like Pressure Manager, for automatic operation.

The new Grundfos SBA is a complete all-in-one unit. It is built on the proven SB platform, but comes with an integrated control unit – eliminating the need for an external pump controller.

Pressure Manager offers a choice of two excellent models: the PM1 for basic flexibility, and the PM2 for all-round control.





CM_Booster_PM1The PM1 is suitable for applications where start/stop of the pump according to consumption is required. It is the basic flexibility solution, offering pump start at 1.5 or 2.2 bar.

The PM1 starts the pump when the starting pressure is reached, and keeps running as long as there is flow.

The PM1 provides dry-running protection and a cycling alarm for increased safety. In addition, it boasts the usual Grundfos quality, which guarantees high flexibility, robust electronics, and long life.






Grundfos-CM-PM2The PM2 is the all-round control solution, offering adjustable pump start at 1.5 to 5 bar. This enables customisation to different types of installation and desired comfort levels. The start pressure is set inside the unit, whereas current pressure is read on the intuitive LED display on the front of the Pressure Manager.

The PM2 starts the pump when the starting pressure is reached, and keeps running as long as there is flow.

The PM2 is equipped with an internal pressure tank to minimise starts and stops in the event of leakage in the installation.

In addition, the PM2 can be optimised for operation with a large external pressure tank by enabling the 1-bar differential pressure function. This significantly reduces the number of operating hours of the pump in installations with a pressure tank.
