Grundfos vertical in-line volute pumps are used in a number of applications including air conditioning and heating. The pumps are all single-stage, in-line centrifugal volute pumps with standard motors and mechanical shaft seals.

The pumps are close-coupled, meaning that the pump and motor are separate units. Consequently, the pumps are less sensitive to impurities in the pumped liquid compared to similar canned rotor pumps.

Grundfos Hydro Multi-E - Booster set

Hydro multi-EHydro Multi-E is an innovative pressure booster system specially designed for building service applications.

As standard, Hydro Multi-E booster sets consist of two to four identical CRE pumps connected in parallel and mounted on a common base frame provided with a control cabinet and all the necessary fittings.

The control of the booster set builds on the master and slave principal where one pump is the master pump and where the other pumps act as slaves.
Hydro Multi-E booster sets are supplied as complete, pre-assembled and thoroughly tested booster sets, ready to install. The set point is easily adjusted via the Grundfos R100 remote control or from the control panel. The advanced control takes care of other adjustments to maintain constant pressure and optimum comfort.

Hydro Multi-E is built on Grundfos CRE pumps, known for their extremely high efficiency and reliability. The speed-controlled motors provide unique control functionality, which increases the comfort of the user and decreases operating costs. High quality materials are used throughout.

Grundfos - HS Horizontal split case pumps


Grundfos-HS-modularThe Grundfos HS horizontal split case pump is a single-stage, non-self-priming, between bearing, centrifugal volute pump. The axially split design allows easy removal of the top casing and access to the pump components (bearings, wear rings, impeller, and shaft seal) without disturbing the motor or pipework.
The independent bearing housing allows for ease of maintenance without removing the top casing. The double volute design reduces the radial load on the shaft, extending component life, minimising vibration and providing quiet operation.
The HS pump also offers high pump efficiencies throughout the range.  High energy efficiency along with long pump life and easy maintenance add up to low life-cycle costs.
The HS pump is available in three configurations – pump with motor and baseframe, pump with baseframe, and bare shaft pump only.

Tsurumi - TRN


Tsurumi-TRN-cutSubmersible aspirating aerators ranging in size from 1 HP to 50 HP. The TRN is designed for very high oxygen transfer efficiency, to mix and entrained solids with out adding oxygen from an expensive blower installation.

Compact shape and design.

The open rotor of the Tsurumi TRN series suctions a large volume of water for the motor power through the pump basket. This water is then mixed with air and distributed horizontally in all directions through the channels of the guide ring.

The top of the rotor is hollow and allows the air that has been suctioned in to fill the area aroundthe shaft seal so that it can mix with the water at the rotor.

One consequence of this is that alayer of air is formed separating the shaft seal from the medium and thereby substantially increasing the life of the shaft seal.

Another effect is that the water that is suctioned in is oxygenated with tiny air bubbles, effectively aerating the waste water.
