54/31 GATE VALVE METAL SEATED RISING STEM OS&Y GULF SPEC
AVK series 54 gate valve is a tough and sturdy metal seated design well suited for use in applications where conditions are harsh with high temperatures and high content of debris or other abrasives. The metal seals are machined to a supremely fine surface finish that makes sure to close water tight under all conditions.

Features
Metal seat design able to withstand high temperatures and abrasive media
Face rings machined to a fine surface finish to ensure a tight seal
Self-lubricating bronze wedge nut
Full circle thrust collar provides fixation of the stem and a low operating torque
Through bore housing for the stem in the wedge to prevent stagnant water and impurities
EPDM O-cord body-bonnet gasket fixed in a recess to prevent blow-out

Lifting eyes for easy handling
Prepared for by-pass retrofit
100/250 μm epoxy coating on all internal iron parts; all other parts are either copper alloy or stainless steel
