KSB-MHD Slurry Pumps

 

Design

KSB-MHD-ModularDesigned to provide high flow/medium head with high efficiency for high
volume transportation in long pipelines.

Horizontal end suction construction. Single wall pump shell
with replaceable suction side liner; four vane impeller or
three vane option for larger size solids.

Wear Parts

1. Impeller is designed for wear-resistant operation in
highly abrasive slurries using GIW’s flow simulation
computer program.
2. Two aramid gaskets aid in the removal of the impeller.
3. Replaceable suction liner facilitates pump internal
inspection and minimizes wear part usage and cost.
Liner can be rotated at intervals to increase wear life.
4. Pump shell is computer designed to optimize wear
and efficiency.

12.Accurate impeller clearance adjustments are easily
made with the adjusting screw.

Overview

aerojet-shemaThe AeroJet is a self-aspirating aerator that keeps aerobic treatment processes running and also helps to avoid odour problems in wastewater storage, as anaerobic zones can be eliminated.

AeroJets are a flexible way of providing both mixing and aeration with the same device. AeroJets are easy to install, operate and maintain, as they do not require any blowers, air distribution piping or control valves.

The flexibility of the AeroJet offers distinct advantages for upgrading aeration capacity to meet increased oxygen demands. It can be used either alone or as a supplement to existing aeration equipment.

AeroJets are available in many different sizes to ensure that all needs can be met, no matter what the size and shape of the tank.

Applications

AeroJets are ideal in applications where aeration is needed to enhance biological processes, to avoid odour problems, or to supply oxygen in:

  • Municipal or industrial WWTP
  • Stabilisation and equalisation tanks

Grundfos vertical in-line volute pumps are used in a number of applications including air conditioning and heating. The pumps are all single-stage, in-line centrifugal volute pumps with standard motors and mechanical shaft seals.

The pumps are close-coupled, meaning that the pump and motor are separate units. Consequently, the pumps are less sensitive to impurities in the pumped liquid compared to similar canned rotor pumps.
