Overview

Grundfos-SL-Modular-The SL range has been developed to optimise performance in your system, minimising known risk factors and reducing maintenance requirements. Remarkably durable, the SL range offers long lasting, service-friendly submersible wastewater pumping.

The highest standards of motor efficiency ensure substantial energy and cost savings. Motors are based on high-efficiency components, improving motor efficiency and prolonging pump life.

The pumps are available with SuperVortex impellers (SLV) for applications with required low operating hours, dry matter content above 5 %, and a spherical free passage up to 100 mm, or with the S-tube impeller (SL1) for applications with required high operating hours, dry matter content up to 3 %, and a spherical free passage up to 100 mm.

The S-tube impeller is the only impeller on the market designed to cope with the challenges of modern wastewater with varying dry matter content. The simple and robust design of the S-tube impeller offers world class hydraulic efficiency without compromising free passage.

Applications

Grundfos-SL-ApplThe SL pump is designed for the transfer of drainage and surface water, domestic, municipal and industrial wastewater, and process water.

The SL pump is also available in an explosion-proof (Ex) version. SL pumps are available in variants with a stainless steel impeller for aggressive environments.

Ksb-RPH is Horizontal, radially split volute casing pump in back pull-out design to API 610, 11th edition, or ISO 13709 (heavy duty), with radial impeller, single-stage, single-entry, centreline pump feet; with inducer, if required. Design to ATEX.

Refineries, petrochemical and chemical industry, power stations.

 

Low maintenance costs

  • The selection of a balancing system for the specific duty point markedly reduces axial forces and extends the bearing life.
  • The double volute (DN 80 and above) reduces radial thrust and prevents shaft deflection.
  • This reduces the load on bearings and mechanical seal.
  • Mechanical seals to ISO 24109 / API 682 in cartridge design are easy to install/remove for maintenance.

Unilift KP pumps are submersible drainage pumps suitable for both temporary and permanent free-standing installation. They can be used for pumping drain water or grey wastewater. They are also suitable for installation in collecting tanks.

The Unilift KP is a single-stage drainage pump with semi-open impeller, designed for the pumping of drain water and grey wastewater. All Unilift KP pumps can be supplied with or without a level switch. The variants are designated as A, AV or M, for automatic or manual operation. The Unilift KP-AV variant for narrow pits is supplied with a non-return flap valve for installation in the outlet. The strainer is clipped onto the pump housing.

The Unilift KP. Single-stage, submersible, stainless steel drainage pump in a robust design with upward-pointing discharge port positioned on the top of the pump.The outer casing is made in one piece. The mains cable and the cable of the level switch are both connected to a single, vulcanized, water-tight plug which is inserted in a socket on the hermetically-sealed stator housing. The motor is a single- or three-phase synchronous canned motor with liquid-filled rotor chamber and water-lubricated bearings.

The motor is cooled by the pumped liquid flowing around it.

The motor incorporates automatic overload protection which cuts out the motor in the event of overload. When it has cooled to normal temperature, the motor restarts automatically.
